      The clinically proven Voltaren Voltaxi combines the active ingredient diclofenac sodium topical gel 12g and an affordable, clinically tested ingredient, Voltaren Emulsion.

      Diclofenac sodium topical gel is used in the treatment of:

      • Allergic to Voltaren
      • Pain in the treatment of osteoarthritis
      • Injection site ulcer
      • Seizure
      • Treatment for rheumatoid arthritis

      The active ingredient, Voltaren Emulsion, is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) that works by blocking an enzyme (epistemia) in the body (adrenergic receptor) which causes inflammation.

      Each Voltaren Emulsion gel 1% cream is individually formulated as a 2x10g gel in the following ways:

      1. For use: as a topical cream.
      2. For use on the hand: the recommended dosage of Voltaren Emulsion gel 1% is 2 grams.
      3. For use on the stomach: the recommended dosage of Voltaren Emulsion is 4 grams.
      4. For the treatment of the:
      5. Pain in the hand or wrist in arthritis.
      6. Injection site ulcer.
      7. Seizure.

      Voltaren Emulgement Gel 1% is available in 4,8,10,12 and 24 g, as an immediate-release formulation, and in an extended-release formulation in a pump-in-a-tube (PITUINES) form.

      Voltaren Emulgement Gel 1% is clinically proven to relieve joint pain and reduce stiffness due to osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

      Voltaren Emulgogeneity is a key reason why the Volwardac® pain/diclofenac sodium topical gel is the most clinically indicated dose of diclofenac sodium topical gel to relieve arthritis pain in arthritis.

      Each gel 1% topical contains diclofenac sodium 0.1% in the form of a cream, or aerosol, to give a pain-relieving dose.

Voltaren® is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain and swelling.

      How does Voltaren® (diclofenac sodium) cream work?

      Voltaren® contains diclofenac sodium, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking your body's production of your own, which in turn reduces the swelling and pain of the painful conditions of the joints.

      How to use Voltaren®

      Apply Voltaren® (diclofenac sodium) cream once a day for the relief of pain, swelling, and inflammation associated with the painful conditions of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis, and for the temporary relief of menstrual cramps. Do not apply Voltaren® to open wounds or to mucous membranes.

      Dosage of Voltaren®

      The dosage of Voltaren® depends on the condition being treated and the patient’s age, weight, medical history, and response to treatment. Voltaren® is usually taken once a day for the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or ankylosing spondylitis.

      Possible side effects of Voltaren®

      Some of the common side effects of Voltaren® cream may include stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, and dizziness. If these side effects persist or become bothersome, speak to your pharmacist or doctor.

      Precautions and side effects of Voltaren®

      Before using Voltaren®, tell your doctor about any:

      • history of stomach ulcers or bleeding disorders
      • whether the patient has or has had kidney or liver disease
      • whether the patient has or has had stomach ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding disorders
      • whether the patient has a history of heart problems, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol
      • whether the patient is pregnant or breast-feeding

      It is important to discuss all the signs and symptoms of arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and other symptoms with your doctor before using Voltaren®. Voltaren® should be used with caution in patients with known heart disease, high blood pressure, or uncontrolled high cholesterol. Avoid the use of Voltaren® if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol.

      Get emergency medical help if you have any of the following symptoms or signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat

      Stop use and ask your doctor to switch you to a different drug and tell your doctor if you have side effects:

      • chest pain
      • shortness of breath
      • shortness of the mouth
      • swelling of the feet or lower legs
      • rash, itching, or hives on the skin
      • unusual bleeding or bruising
      • yellowing of the skin or eyes
      • redness or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat

      The following side effects have been reported with Voltaren®:

      • fever
      • muscle pain
      • pain or swelling in the back or neck
      • headache
      • back pain
      • pain or discomfort in the upper stomach
      • headache or muscle aches
      • rash or hives on the skin
      • vomiting

      What is Voltaren Gel?

      Voltaren Gel is an over-the-counter treatment for pain in the lower back and muscle.

      How does Voltaren Gel work?

      Voltaren Gel contains diclofenac (also called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug). Voltaren Gel contains diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), which is also a pain reliever in the lower back, muscles, joints, and bones.

      Voltaren Gel can be applied to the skin to relieve pain and inflammation. It also has anti-inflammatory properties. Voltaren Gel should be used only when the need for pain relief is present.

      Voltaren Gel is only used to relieve pain and inflammation.

      Voltaren Gel should not be used if you are allergic to diclofenac or other NSAIDs. Do not use Voltaren Gel if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions.

      What is the most important information I should know about Voltaren Gel?

      Voltaren Gel is available only with a doctor's prescription. Voltaren Gel should not be used to treat pain or inflammation in the lower back or muscle. It may also help to relieve pain associated with other conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Do not use Voltaren Gel if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless your doctor has told you to.

      Voltaren Gel may cause drowsiness when applied to the skin. If this occurs, you may be advised to increase your dosage of Voltaren Gel.

      Voltaren Gel should not be used for any condition other than that described in the labeling guide.

      Voltaren Gel may cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or blurred vision. It may also affect your vision or cause temporary blurred vision. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

      Do not use Voltaren Gel if you are allergic to diclofenac, aspirin, any of the other ingredients of Voltaren Gel or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Voltaren Gel if you are using the gel twice a day.

      Voltaren Gel may also cause drowsiness when applied to the skin. It may also help to increase your dosage of Voltaren Gel.

      Do not use Voltaren Gel to treat pain, tenderness, or swelling (e.g., back pain) when the product is applied to the skin. Do not use Voltaren Gel for up to 14 days unless your doctor has told you to.

      Voltaren Gel should not be used if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

      Voltaren Gel may cause lightheadedness, especially when the product is applied to the skin.

      Voltaren Gel may cause dizziness or lightheadedness. It may affect your vision or cause temporary blurred vision.

      What should I discuss with my healthcare provider before using Voltaren Gel?

      Before using Voltaren Gel, tell your doctor if you have any of these health conditions: heart disease, high or low blood pressure, stroke, or liver disease. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

      Voltaren Emulgel is a pain relief gel for you!

      Directions for Adults Age 12

      Apply the gel to the affected area 3 times a day for 7 days. Apply at a rate of 2 g of Emulgel twice a week.

      Storage Instructions

      • Store the product at room temperature.
      • You can throw away any product that does not have proper storage.
      • Do not store the product in the bathroom.
      • Do not use the after use product in the eyes, mouth or skin.
      • Do not store the product for a longer time, after the expiry has passed.

      The amount of Diclofenac which is absorbed can drop to less than 0.1 mg/g.

      Diclofenac diethylamine is a group of medicines known as central nervous and physical medicine at the action of which are present in the blood.

      Diclofenac diethylamine is used to treat the symptoms of depression, the symptoms of which include:

      • Nausea
      • Drowsiness
      • Headache
      • Dry mouth
      • Constipation

      Nausea is the most serious side effect which may occur after using Voltaren Emulgel, is the result of the medicines being used in the same group of medicines as the medicinal substance.
